Meet Lei
Lei is the Director of Project Management at Interpro, and a proud Wheaton local. With a background in Technical Communication, Lei combines theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience with tools for content development, which has helped her manage projects successfully. Lei joined Interpro in 2006 as a Project Manager and, in 2012, began building a Simplified Chinese translation team in China. Over her 19 years at Interpro, she has grown from a Project Manager to a Director, gaining extensive industry experience across a wide range of localization projects.
As Director, Lei manages, supports, and coaches the Project Management team, ensuring all projects meet ISO 9001:2015 and 17100:2015 standards. She’s also dedicated to improving and streamlining the translation project management process at Interpro.
Outside of work, Lei loves traveling and spending time with her family.
What do you love most about offering translation solutions?
We help our clients reach their target audiences in different countries and cultures. That alone brings a great sense of achievement.

Chinese, English.
If tomorrow you could speak another language fluently, which would it be?
Cantonese.
Favorite foreign cuisine:
Chinese, Italian, Mexican—it’s hard to pick one. I enjoy trying all types of food.
Favorite music genre:
Chinese Rock, K-Pop (influenced by my teen girl)
Favorite place traveled abroad:
Zhangjiajie, China and Alaska, USA.
